Nukunu FC — football is more than 90 minutes, a tool for social change

Our Mission

At Nukunu Football Club, we believe football is more than 90 minutes on the pitch. It is a powerful tool for social change.

From our base in Tadzewu in the Volta Region, we witnessed how drug abuse and lack of opportunity derailed the dreams of many talented youth. We established Nukunu FC to provide an alternative path.

Our work is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), advancing good health and well-being (SDG 3), quality education (SDG 4), and decent work and economic growth (SDG 8).

Our Campaign

Be addicted to it — not drugs.

Our work directly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

SDG 3.5

Good Health & Well-Being

We strengthen the prevention of substance abuse by engaging youth in structured sports, promoting mental resilience and healthy lifestyles.

SDG 4 & 8

Quality Education & Economic Growth

We turn talent into a decent and sustainable livelihood.

Our model is simple: find raw talent in underserved communities, nurture it, and open doors to opportunities that change lives.

01

Recruit

We identify raw talent from underserved communities across the Volta Region and beyond.

02

Develop

We nurture them with quality coaching, education and mentorship.

03

Export

We move them to bigger opportunities that transform their families and communities.

By choosing talent over drugs, our Wonder Boys are not just becoming professional footballers — they are becoming AMBASSADORS FOR HOPE.
